I've found it works for me... because I NEVER stop working toward the BEST CASE scenario (but carefully), BUT, am ALWAYS PREPARED for the WORST... and I've found I'm NEVER surprised !
As far as the rest above? WE ARE creatures of evolution... and the building blocks are, and have always, BEEN there. Therefore, if it happened once, it probably has happened COUNTLESS times before over the eons... and SOMEWHERE OUT THERE... GOD may very well EXIST !!
I won't define life by comparing what last 4 generations believed possible demanding their last arrivals save the ideologies or else. What the hell do you think creates divisions in sibling rivalries and resentment between each generation gap alive daily? Philosophies since ancient times east or western hemispheres north or south hemispheres.
Religion, politics, economics, academia, arts, dictators shops per generation gap and democracies for 4 generations deceiving great great grandchildren cradle to grave repeating traditional values life isn't self evident time adapting uniquely here each heartbeat.
